Syracuse University: Seeking practicing school counselors* who will complete an anonymous online survey for the purpose of exploring data behaviors in implementing and assessing comprehensive developmental school counseling programs; prior training on utilizing data; program evaluation (interests, perceived value of training, knowledge, and confidence in conducting); and school factors (caseload, perceived principal support, and school level). *To qualify for this study you must be: A. Graduated from a master’s-level school counselor training program in the United States, B. Currently hold licensure or certification as a school counselor in the United States, C. Currently employed and practicing as a professional school counselor in the United States, and D. Currently at least 18 years of age or older). University of Florida: You are invited to help with a dissertation research study that examines the relationship between professional school counselors’ color-blind racial ideology, social justice attitudes, multicultural competence, and advocacy competency. This research study has been approved by the University of Florida IRB 202101195 and is under the supervision of my dissertation chair, Dr. Jacqueline Swank. The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete, and after completing the survey participants will have an option to provide an email address for an opportunity to receive a $10 Amazon gift card. Every 20th participant will receive a gift card.
