Introduction to Baker Act Webinar Series

The Florida Department of Children and Families, Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, in partnership with the Florida Certification Board (FCB), would like to invite you to a FREE CEU Three-part webinar series on the Introduction to the Baker Act.

The Baker Act refers to a set of laws that identify how individuals receive voluntary and involuntary mental health services in designated receiving facilities. The Baker Act is a general term that encompasses many facets of mental health examination and treatment. This webinar series discusses the history of the Baker Act, how services are accessed and delivered, and the rights of individuals receiving services.
