Fall Workshops Help Teachers Plan SATĀ® Prep in Their Schools September 22, 2006
The College Board Florida Partnership is pleased to offer workshops that provide Florida public school teachers with the activities and materials they need to design a school-based SAT preparation course. Participants have the opportunity to customize strategies to motivate, prepare, and empower students at all levels of ability to achieve personal success on the SAT. Participants will learn:
about the SAT format and question types on the math, critical reading, and writing sections;
how to plan and conduct their preparation sessions according to student and class needs; and
how to effectively bring print and online SAT Readiness Program£ resources into the classroom.
During the second half of the workshop, math and English-language sessions will be given separately, to focus on the specific content areas.
Schedule
All sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Although space is limited, seats are still available for each of the workshops.
