School Counselor of the Year 2008 - American School Counselor Association
Arlington, VA, February 4, 2008—Tammi Mackeben, a school counselor from Ernesto Serna PK-8 School, in El Paso, Texas, has been named the top school counselor in America. Mackeben is one of more than 300 elementary and secondary school counselors nationwide that competed for the title of School Counselor of the Year. The program, sponsored by the American School Counselor Association, honors the professionals who devote their careers to serving as advocates and often life savers for the nation’s students.
