WEEK OF THE CLASSROOM TEACHER & WORLD TEACHER’S DAY Every year, the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) encourages communities to honor the professionalism and dedication of their teachers. ACEI is preparing for its annual celebration of the Week of the Classroom Teacher (October 1-7) and UNESCO’s World Teachers’ Day (October 5). These are important celebrations that acknowledge the contributions teachers make to education. It is an opportunity to relay the message that teachers are valuable professionals whose work and dedication directly influence the future of the world. ACEI encourages students, parents, school administrators, and communities to honor the professionalism and dedication of their teachers.
