NCLB Sanctions on Horizon
NCLB Sanctions on Horizon for Several States Maine, Nebraska, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota, Texas are in danger of having 10 - 25% of their state administrative funds under No Child Left Behind withheld because their testing systems were not approved by the U.S. Department of Education. According to NCLB, assessment systems must be fully approved by ED for the upcoming 2006-2007 school year to receive these funds.
