Nominate your counselor for a national award! The American School
Counselor Association is seeking nominations for its School Counselor of the
Year awards program. Up to 10 finalists will be selected for an
all-expenses-paid trip, with their nominators, to Washington, D.C., in
February 2008. The finalists and their nominators will spend the weekend
touring D.C. and participating in educational discussions and focus groups.
The weekend culminates with a black-tie awards ceremony honoring the
finalists and selecting one school counselor of the year from among the
finalists. Nominations are due Sept. 14, 2007.
