ADMINISTRATOR/SUPERVISOR ADVOCACY AWARD

The purpose of the Administrator/Supervisor Advocacy Award is to recognize an administrator, coordinator, director or supervisor whose leadership has shown outstanding services and impact in the guidance and counseling field for counselors on a local, state, or national level.
 
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION:
 
  1. Nominee must be an administrator, coordinator, director or supervisor of district guidance and counseling services who has consistently made a significant contribution to the improvement of guidance and counseling services in the school setting.

     
  2. Nominee must be currently employed as a full-time supervisor, coordinator or director of district guidance services and have completed at least three years of service. The nominee's primary responsibility must be in working with programs at the school level.

     
  3. Nominee must be a member of FSCA.
CRITERIA FOR RECOGNITION:
 
  1. Initiation of developmental school counseling and guidance program.

     
  2. Implementation of innovative counseling and guidance services.

     
  3. Improvement of existing counseling and guidance services.
